Insufficient power can cause the CPU or other components to halt. External EMI can disrupt data transmission. ESD events, especially in dry environments, can corrupt data or damage components. Software errors can trigger infinite loops or memory access violations. Over time, connector corrosion, while externally invisible, increases impedance, disrupting signal integrity.
