Printer errors on payment terminals can stem from several sources: (1) Communication failures between the mainboard and the printer module (baud rate mismatch, corrupted data stream). (2) Low voltage to the printer (power supply degradation). (3) Firmware glitches within the terminal's operating system. (4) Signal attenuation in the data cable. (5) Corrupted printer drivers.
