Signal attenuation in network cables affects data transmission integrity.
Safe Handling: Always unplug the Clover Flex from its power source before performing any cleaning or inspection. Avoid using excessive force when plugging or unplugging cables. Be aware of potential static discharge (ESD) risks, especially in dry environments. Do NOT attempt to open or modify the Clover Flex's internal components. This violates PCI-PTS security standards and will render the device unusable.
Implement regular cleaning schedules for the Clover Flex, focusing on the touchscreen and card reader slot. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) buildup, especially during dry winter months.
